In recent years, urology and andrology have made great progress in
terms of medical and surgical therapies. Medical therapies have gone
in the direction of finding drugs against so-called orphan pathologies
or with ineffective therapies such as chronic pelvic pain, induratio penis
plastica and premature ejaculation. There has also been a development
of new oncological drugs such as in prostate cancer. As regards surgery,
there has been a great development of new techniques thanks also to
biomedical technology.
For two days, great world experts will discuss the reality of urology in
Lituania for an exchange of scientific information where there will be
plenty of space for discussion.
